Why There Hasn't Been a Definitive 9/11 Movie Yet

Blog Post #6

has a realy comprehensive blog article about why there hasn't been a definitive movie about 9/11.

Personally I think the two films pictured above, Paul Greengrass's United 93 and Oliver Stone's World Trade Center both released in 2006, did a very good job at depicting several factors of the events. World Trade Center was very good and United 93 was excellent!

Like the blog article also states “The National Geographic Channel's Inside 9/11 is a clinical, documentary-style breakdown of the events leading up to that day, the day itself and the aftermath. It's as comprehensive as you could want.” And I completely agree. I only saw Part 1 of Inside 9/11, but WOW was it detailed and excellent.

Like the blog article states extensively, ten years later this is still a touchy subject and you must make something that will make money. As the article also states “It's called "show business" after all -- if there's no business, there's no show.”
